For my fiction class, we could do a creative assignment with the books we read. I, of course, made movie poster as if I was going to make these books into films. As is my custom, I put real actors into fake movies - fake movies that are directed by real people - people that I think would not only do justice to, but make wonders with the material of these books. Sofia Coppola making Pride and Prejudice? Yes, please - that text lends itself so easily to a long, boring plot with beautiful aestheticism.
It is highly ironic that I always put my mom into movies about booze, but here we go again. I felt that day and those pictures went well with the the Carver story, so that happened.
